The overall winner of blu’s most popular vape flavour in 2023, across all blu vape devices, was Blueberry.

Yes, Blueberry e-liquid (18mg/ml) for the refillable open blu PRO device was chosen by over 25% of you last year followed by the hugely popular Menthol e-liquid, and then Golden Tobacco e-liquid.

The top spot has changed in the last three years. The most popular e-liquid flavour in the UK in 2020 was Menthol and Mint, closely followed by Tobacco.

For blu 2.0 vapers who prefer a closed liquidpod, Golden Tobacco (18mg/ml) came in top place followed by Fresh Mint in both second (18mg/ml) and third (9mg/ml) places.

Disposable vapers who chose blu bar went for Strawberry Ice and Watermelon Ice followed by Kiwi Passionfruit (all 20mg/ml).

How Many People Vape?

You might be surprised to learn that since the first ever vape was patented almost a hundred years ago in 1927, there are now 82 million adult vapers worldwide and a whopping 4.7 million here in the UK!

Great Britain has the second largest number of vapers, after the USA, with most being aged between 35-44 years old.

Around half of all vapers use refillable open devices like blu PRO, although these are becoming less popular while over 30% now use disposable vapes like blu bar.

Based on the ongoing popularity of menthol and exotic fruit flavours; we predict that you’re going to see a lot more of these cooling fruit blends appearing.

As Blueberry is blu’s best-selling flavour, maybe you would like to see other blueberry blends – perhaps blueberry and cinnamon or coriander, blueberry and lime or blueberry and almond.

We’re predicting that you would like to see more exotic fruit flavours like pineapple vapes, papaya, star fruit or guava flavours in 2024.

For something even more unusual, how about an espresso coffee and bitter dark chocolate, a creamy avocado flavour, or a nutty taste – like hazelnut ice, pistachio and almond, or even something spicy like dark chocolate with lime and chilli?
